I am fist time in the US
My name is Yuehong lin. I remember my first time came to the US has 4 years ago with my family.
That day was very hot and dry,and we drove 2 hours at home. second day,we went to the supermarket bought some subsistence stores and a lot of food.
we were begging new life and anything was new, we were very excited and happy. I need studied English and cooked American food , watched American TV show, it's strange of anything ,but i love it and continuation...

The first man who speaks about his job is the window installer , who can't run from the sun. He says that this isn't difficult, because you need just do, what you have to do...."It is basically us versus the elements!"
The second guy is the zookeepers, who works in the Lincoln Park Zoo. He speak about his work in the lion house and by the seal pool. He spends about 70 percent of his job outside, cleaning the grounds and caring for the animals. They try to make more comfortable for the animals, but he always go in the red panda room, because here is 68 degrees.
The asphalt pavers maybe have the hardest work. The hot new asphalt is 200 degree! They say to try finish the work as soon as they can, and they need to make 15-minute breaks for every 30 minutes of work.
I'm very happy don't need to work outside because I hate the hot weather expect by the beach!
I can't believe somebody works outside by 90-100 degree temperatures. In any case I respect these people!

Research has shown that music has a profound effect on your body and psyche. In fact, there’s a growing field of health care known as music therapy, which uses music to heal. Those who practice music therapy are finding a benefit in using music to help cancer patients, children with ADD, and others, and even hospitals are beginning to use music and music therapy to help with pain management, to help ward off depression, to promote movement, to calm patients, to ease muscle tension, and for many other benefits that music and music therapy can bring. This is not surprising, as music affects the body and mind in many powerful ways. The following are some of effects of music, which help to explain the effectiveness of music therapy: Brain Waves, Breathing and Heart Rate, State of Mind, and other benefits. I think there are many things seem strange to us when we hear about it at first time, but once we read and go into it, we understand more and more. According to University of Missouri report, Flood 2011 is ongoing threat as long as the Missouri River stays above flood stage, the risk for flooding remains.
After the disaster, I think People should be ready, have a family disaster plan and disaster supply kit.
Having a plan can help families make it through any disaster with minimal stress. A comprehensive family disaster plan includes information about each family member, and People also should prepare to save food, and the food has to be less fat and protien. and also it is not salty, so it doesn't make People thirsty. My article was about Youtube video of the stabbing, which, took place in Boystown on July 3. Rubin Robinson who is 25 years old black man, from Englewood, being punched and kicked by several other black men. The meele, which, took place over Black Pride weekend. Boystown resident said was an alarming increase in violance from that the south and west siders who had started coming to their neighborhood. Also, they said, it wasn't race issue, it was a safety issue. In fact, Author thought, it was totally racist because black people always feel uncomfartable in that region when author was a young, couple of times he was dining with his friend, but people wasn't unwelcomed them.
First time when i read it, i didn't understand, which, was about racist or not because couple of black men were fighting on the street, after that i got it. Biggest problem is some neighbours pretended as safety problem, but real reason might be racist. Especially, some neighbours opened page in Facebook "Take Back Boystown" that kind of behaviours make people chaos and enemy feelings. Before i came to chicago, i thought, U.S. solved racist problem unfortunately, it is still keeping

I read the article names all in the legs. The massive sculpture in pioneer- Marilyn Monroe`s famous subway grate stance, began installation late Monday night, leaving Monroe`s famous legs exposed to Thusday morning commuters and tourists . The-top half the sculpture and the 26-foot-tall completed work will be unveiled after 7pm Friday morning. The Marilyn statue , which will stand in the plaza through spring 2012, already had draw a buzz by lunchtime Thusday. It was built by a famous sculptor - Johnson . They do the public art , it`s committed to providing art to the general public. It will be a view in Chicago. I looked forward to seeing this Leg.

It created by based artist Seward Johnson who had created twice previously at Pioneer Court. One of that was American Gothic, in fall 2009. The other one was King Lear graced the plaza.
I think, that kind of big activities make Chicago an art city. I'm deeply supported and glad to see that. I have never seen massive sculpture before coming Chicago. When i saw this article, i decided share to my friends who like and support art as me.

So I read this article with my curiousness.From the description of the article, the author always pretends to love pop culture . she got along well with her cool friends. they was talking about the 'new' things, such as the legendary actress Maggie, MCGonagall and so on, when they got togeter. But she sometimes she pretended to not know anything and declared nerd immediately. When I saw the title of this article, it caused my interesting . So I read this article with my curiousness.From the description of the article, the author always pretends to love pop culture . she got along well with her cool friends. they was talking about the 'new' things, such as the legendary actress Maggie, MCGonagall and so on, when they got togeter. But she sometimes she pretended to not know anything and declared nerd immediately. She seems have double life, she likes nerdy things, like the zombie movies and pan painfully terrible fan fiction. she thought her life of lies was a survival tactic, but she tired of living a lie.
To be honest, the author was not neccessary to hide herself, no matter the pop culture or the nerdy things, all these should share with her friends, if they are your friends, they will understand you.

The new standards proposed by the Obama administration to increase the mileage of all American cars to an average of 56.2 miles per gallon by 2025 are important and necessary legislation. The automakers have said this is possible, but are concerned about the cost of implementation, electric filling stations and what the public can afford.
All reasonable concerns and ones to be mindful of. But reducing our dependence on foreign oil and decreasing greenhouse gases make this legislation affordable even if cars cost more.
It is time for people to realize that they must not continue to assume that they are privileged to consume more energy than the rest of the world. Not only are we not that entitled, but our country also cannot afford the costs to our people, or to our environment if we wish to maintain our living standard.

My article was about a housing community in New Hampshire, which, found solution as dog owner who didn't pick up dog poo in the street. They suggested PooPrints, which, hire a doggie DNA company. That means, they would take DNA by all dogs and when a stray pile is found, the company tests the droppings, compares them to the DNA on file and fines the neglectful dog owners.

His name is Ivan Burns Jr., when he and his father walked out their back door to bring their dog, his father heard two shots. Before he even locked the door, but he saw his son Ivan Burns Jr. fall. From my piont of view, Arjona's way is not a smart way. oppositely, it's a stupid mistake. there is no way because no one is above the law,any crime should be punished. Even though she can sneak her husband out from the prison successfully, but they can't live a bright life!

The article I red is about a 19-year-old woman--Arjona was grab by police because she tried to help her husban escape. she seemed to use a' smart 'way to help her huaband to escape the prison, but it wasn't . Maybe every body are interested in what's her 'smart' way? OK, I am answering you now. Her 'smart'way was that she used a suitcase and let her husband curl up inside the suitcase. on the surface, it's just baggage,but from her behaviors could show her suspicious. So she was arrested.

Christopher Szmajlo was 29 years of age. Who found dead in Lake Michigan after falling from boat. A man on another boat said he saw Szmajlo came up fro a last gasp of air before he disapeared into the dark water. Police and firefighters look for hours overnight before finally suspending their search at the mouth of the Chicago River. H was into martial arts and passionate about music.
I couldn't believe what i saw, he was just under the surface. Am so shock that something like this will happed to Christopher Szamjlo on that day, who has his Music coming out.

Dear Henry!
I had tried to write you a letter before long time ago, but it was so hard to say, after all those years I had suffered, and since I realized the truth, my tears wouldn’t stop. I felt that I really would like to die instead of grief live, but still how to explain, what should I tell you? And how would you understand? All these questions live into my head, but there was no answer!!
Since I left our home to visit my parents, in my way I was exposed to terrible accident by bandits, so I had shocked till I was fainted, so bandits thought I had died, and they threw me on the wood. After several days my eyes started to open, and I found myself laying on bed and some people around me.
They were passing by the road and they found me, so they took me to their village. After my consciousness started to me I couldn’t remember anything, “ why am I here? ”
And who are those people, I couldn’t remember even my name, I had loss of memory for years. I couldn’t remember anything of life that I lived before, and I started new life in this village, the people were so nice to me they treated me as I was born there and among them.
After one year I met one man he was live in the same village, and we became know each other and we fell in love, after few month we decided to be married, and we did, so I have 3 kids. So after all those years I didn’t have any idea about my life history, but by the time I felt some strange feelings, just fragment of memories didn’t tell me weather I’m in fact or dream!
But during the time my memory backed to me. So know I don’t know what to do, and how can tell you both?
Please forgive me, and help me!

Hi Henry! How are you? What are you doing without me? Are you working a lot?
I reach my parents home very good! My sister and her family are here too. They are all happy to see me! Father works a lot in a garden, mother cooks delicious food . I spend my time with relatives, read books and help parents. I hope we can spend time together when I get home on Saturday. I miss you very much. Dear Henry!
I tried for years to write this letter, but the words didn't come out.
I dont know how I can apologize but I can't live with this heavy secret anymore.
You know , how young I was , when my parents decided to get married to you. I fell in love just few mounts before the wedding with a guy from the neighbor's farm, but we couldn't change my parents's decision. We tried to live without each other, but we can't. I'm sure, you saw my unhappiness.We decided to escape together. It wasn't easy to break your heart, but we hadn't get any other change.
When my family invited me in their house, I have never arrived there. We met with the guy to begin our new life together somewhere. It was the hardest, but the best decision in my life.
We have a really balanced life, but this secret and the disappointment what I caused, poisoned my every single day.

The fun of TV will show a new comedy , that premieres at 9 p.m. The general actor of the series is Elijah Wood, who knows most of the films "Sin City" or "Lord of the Rings". We know, he is an excellent actor, but we've never seen before him in comedy. He says, he is always looking for something different, what he've done before.
Wood plays Ryan, who has a strange relationship whit the neighbor's dog, Wilfred. Everybody sees the dog to be a normal dog, but he sees an Australian man in an mangy dog suit. He believes this dog, Wilfred speaks very foul-mouthed and force him to stepping in many adventurous ways.
This comedy created by Jason Gann, who hopes this gay will be good, because to be a good straight man, you need to be a fantastic comic!
I've never heard about this comedy or something similar story. I think it is a little strange theme, but I'm very interested to see the series!

I wrote you a lot of letters but I didn’t send them. Today I decided you have to know something about me. I am sorry about my disappearance many years ago. I must to explain you why did I do that. I loved you that all time during the day when I left. But I could not live that life that we lived. I wanted simple woman’s happily life, but it was impossible. I know you loved me, but you loved gold too and it won. I really wanted to have children, but we could not have them together. I know it’s not your fault. I hope, you're good. After i arrived in here. I spend time with my family. Actually, i really miss them and they're too. I'm so glad to meet them. Now, i miss you but you shouldn't worry. I'm going to come on saturday. These days wake up early and we have a crowd breakfast with my all family. I usually help my sister for cook and clean up home. After the breakfast, we go to countryside for walk with my sisters and brothers. My sisters and me collect fresh fruit from trees and Please, take care yourself and don't skip lunch.

To my love, Henry I write this letter to let you know the I decided stay one more week with my family. The reason I made this decision was because my father has been sick for the lats couple days and I don't want to leave him like this. But, don't you worry this is not something serious. Anyway I'm doing well, I had so much fun here with my little sister and my brother. My mother says hello, she ask me why you didn't come with me but told I her than you have work to do and we don't have nobody to take care of our animals.
