Pride Parade deserves better

My article was about The Chicago Pride Parade which will be on June 26 in Boystown. Many gay and lesbian people are going to walk and celebrate for gay rights also straight people for sure attend it. Actually, this article was kind of sarcastic writing because editor criticized and kidding Fernanda Rocha who has represent of Chicago Pride Parade this year. Not only Chicago, IL has it. Also six state has it. But other cities of represent are big names in the gay community except represent of Chicago. Dan Savage, creater of the anti-bullying It Gets Better project, will be one of the grand marshals of this year's New York City Parade. Trans hero Chaz Bono Bono and transsexual-rights supporter Olympia Dukakis are co-marshals at this year's San Francisco Parade. Waaay out Olympic athlete and queer personality Johnny Weir was grand marshal for L.A.'s Parade. So nobody knows who is Fernanda Rocha and she doesn't irrelevant any gay or lesbian community. Couple of times, she played in The Real Housewives of Orange County and that program doesn't about gay or lesbian stuff.

I think, that kind of events are very important for people who has support rights and defend equality, so it has to represent of notable people about it that has to be pertain ofcourse.
