There wasn't so big scorcher on 7 of June since 1933.
A lot of people thought this Thursday was a record-settin day, but wasn't. It was just a second-hottest day since 1933. The article says, maybe at Wednesday will be the next record-setting day.
Heat advisories were posted in Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa, but temperature will begin to fall dramatically from Wednesday.
The most important advices of these dangerously days for example to drink a lot of water, avoid to go out the hottest part of the day. Wear loose-fitting clothes and check the friends and neighbors.
I think the advices were evident in the article, but good to update your knowledge!
